Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places!
Hey guys and gals how is everything going? I hope it is going great, and I hope that God is blessing you. I am writing today from the perspective of a single college student that has the worst luck ever with women, so in a sense, I am writing from my own personal perspective! Lol! I really do hope you all enjoy my blog and I definitely hope it is not boring, I would love feedback and messages letting me know what you think! Thank you all again for following my blog, and commenting, IT REALLY MEANS A LOT TO ME!
So here is the deal, I have been single for a very long time, and I started talking to/dating this girl that writes a blog, her name is MissFLBelle. Look her up she is really good at blogging, but she is also from Starkville. SO we talked and dated and slept together all that good stuff, but all we ever did was argue. And this comes from both of us. I hated how girly she was, and how immature she acted, and she hated that I was a guy. Not that I was a guy but because I acted like one. She hated that I spit, farted, burped, anything that can be expected from a guy she hated about me... but thats not the point of this blog, the point is, why does it seem like some guys or girls only seem to be looking for love in all the wrong places?
I seem to only find girls that only like me for a short while, and to be totally honest, I think most of that is my fault but it is also on them too. It seems as if it is getting harder and harder to find a girl that I legitlly care about. I am not sure if that is for everyone, but I know my roommate is single, and my best friend is single also and they seem to have the same problems. Is it me? Or do any of you seem to be getting the same vibe? Are their no good people out their anymore?
I wouldn't mind finding a girl that I can have an intelligent conversation with, and ladies I know you wouldn't mind the vice versa of that situation. So my question to you all is this: Where do you think is a good place to find a girl/guy? What should you do to find this girl/guy? Give me some input people!!!!!
Have a blessed day! Thanks again for reading my blog, It means a lot to me that you would take time out of your day to read something I have to say. I love that. Once again, thanks followers!

Religion....
Hey sorry I haven't been posting like I should! I got so busy there for a little while... well I am back and taking it on full blast, and for this post, I want to dive into Religion. Not like a preacher, no, more from the aspect of a college student.
I have been in College for 3 years now and I have been to the FCA's, the Wesley Foundation (Methodist Student Union), and the Baptist Student Unions. But when I went, I saw people I had seen 2 nights earlier at a party.... Don't get me wrong I am not judging, I am simply saying that I saw them... I, myself, was at the party too :-). But what I am wondering is: Are the Student Ministries on Campus, Are they for socializing? Or are they actual worship?
From my experience, and this is my experience and opinion, I think that the College Student Ministries are more for socializing and meeting new people than worshiping God. Once again, Don't get me wrong, I know there are actually a few people their that are their for the right reasons... but there is also a lot of people that are their for the wrong reasons.
Now that I have cleared up my thoughts on the College Student Ministries, I would like to take a look at the Local Student Ministries. Why is it so awkward to walk into a Church on Sunday mornings if you have never been there before? I mean it is a Church, not a stage. Or has it turned into a stage?
I went to a Church the other morning, and I felt like I was being watched when I opened the door... I don't exactly think I was being watched but I think it was more of my conscience telling me, "hey you don't belong here." But if I don't belong at a Church, or a Church says you don't belong their, then why is it a Church? Is a Church not a place for refuge?
I think it is, but I also think it is awkward for College Students to take that refuge because I think the College Ministries are looked over, or not taken seriously. I feel as if we have no real place in modern day church, There are children ministries, youth ministries, adult ministries, all of which are very in depth. Many people help with each of these ministries. The thing is, why are there not that many people with the College Ministries? Aren't we the future leaders of America? At my Church the College Ministries is ran by one person. One Person? Thanks for the effort.
But anywho, let me know how you feel on College Students in Religion! What are your experiences? Thoughts? Oh and I am looking for more Controversial Topics to right about, so feel free to leave some ideas!

Is College for Everyone?
I am a Junior in college, and I have recently been thinking, is college for everyone? Like, I am good at school, I made a 22 on the A.C.T. and I haven't failed any classes in college, but I also know someone who made a 28 on the A.C.T. and has only passed like 2 classes. I have come to think that No, College isn't for everyone.
Let me explain. College is for people to further pursue an education. It is designed to be challenging, so that the ones who are pursuing a further education than high school can get the best out of college and learn as much as possible. This being said, where do the ones that don't want to further pursue their education fit in?
A lot of kids go to College because it is expected of them, not because they want to. It is a formality to them, instead of a need or want. This makes it true that College is not for everyone. I am a firm believer that unless it is something we want, or need, or have to have, we have no passion to pursue it. I remember when I was a kid, I wanted a game on Nintendo 64 so bad. I wanted to get Mario Karts 64(the greatest game ever). My Parents, however, wouldn't get it for me. They kept saying, "if you want the game you have to work for it." And boy did I work for it. I mowed the yard, raked the leaves, cleaned the house, I did everything I could to get that game. And since I did that stuff my parents got me the game.
We reap what we sow. That is a very accurate statement. It means that we get out what we put in. So if we don't really want it or aren't willing to work for it, then we won't get anything out of it. I am a firm believer that college isn't for everyone, because not everyone is willing to work for their education. And college very much so demands work.
Feel free to leave comments! Tell me what you think about College, Is it for everyone? Or do you feel differently than I do? Let me know!

Food for Thought
I have been thinking recently. And when I think, it is never good! But I want to take a dive into a very debatable topic. A very controversial topic. Keep in mind that I am meaning no harm by anything I say, it is just thoughts. But I want to take a look into homosexuality.
Homosexuality has spread very fast in the United States. It has become a movement. A lifestyle. And all of this I am OK with. I am OK with someone being gay, that's no big deal. Its your choice and your life, I don't mind. It bothers me though when gay people seclude themselves from society and act as though they have their own rights for their lifestyle choice. It bothers me very much. It bothers me that they use the "I'm Gay" card to do certain things, talk certain ways, act a certain way, or get away with stuff.
Let me explain my position: Recently I was part of an interview and had the joys to sit in on it. It was for a job. There were two candidates and one was straight and one was homosexual. We didn't know that this individual was homosexual at first. It wasn't until the interviewer asked him to tell him(the interviewer) something we should know about himself. He declared,"well I'm gay".
Well I'm Gay????? WTF! Who cares? Why is that something we should know? Isn't that a personal lifestyle choice that does not include other individuals except for his partners? THEN WHY SHOULD WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE GAY???????? I hate that. I hate that people broadcast their lifestyle choice. Because it never fails, after someone broadcasts their lifestyle choice they are made fun of, harassed, or any other of that nature. It never fails. So that brings me to this.
Food For Thought: If no one ever declared the fact that they were gay, would their be homosexual discrimination???
Now I know there would be other ways to find out someone is gay, but would the homosexual discrimination be as widespread or as bad if no one ever came out of the closet.
I feel as though homosexuals use that card to their advantage. You can't say that I'm Gay, you can't treat me that way its discrimination because I'm gay. NO IT'S NOT! No one cares if you are gay.
If homosexuals had never said they were gay then I don't think there would be discrimination as bad on them. Any who tell me what you think. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not? Hope you enjoyed, more to come!

Google Adsense
I just made an account with Google Adsense, and I have to say it is pretty cool! You get paid for having an ad on your blog, website, or other domain as long as people click on it. So that is pretty cool. I put in a Google Search Bar for my readers to search for topics I talk about. I have made it to where most of the topics I cover on my blog are priority hits from Google Search. That way when you search you find what you are looking for with no problem. I hope you enjoy the new addition to the blog!

USA Soccer
I don't know if you care about soccer or not, but I happen to be an avid soccer fan. That being said I am sure you all have came across the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa at some point on ESPN. In that tournament the United States was just eliminated a few days ago losing to Ghana 2-1 in extra time. We had a great run in group play, staying undefeated throughout group play and actually winning our group which was group C and included, England, Algeria, and Slovenia. We were eliminated in the round of 16, and after being eliminated, the USA Soccer President said that we, "failed expectations".
Failed expectations????? What were his expectations? In a country where kids play soccer from age 5 until they are old enough to strap on a helmet and shoulder pads, how high could the expectations be? In my opinion, soccer is about the 4th to 5th largest sport in the United States. That being said Soccer is the single largest sport plaid around the world. That should say a lot about how much the United States actually cares about soccer. I rank our sports as follows:
1.Football
2.Baseball
3.Basketball
4.Soccer/Golf
5.Golf/Soccer
6.Tennis
These are based on my opinion only. But really Mr. USA Soccer President, what were your expectations? My expectations were actually HOPES! I hoped that we could make it out of the group, and I hoped that we could win in the round of 16. But we play football our entire lives in the United States, outside of our borders, futbol is played their entire lives.
Soccer in other countries is football in our country. We take pride in dominating countries in Football, Baseball, and Basketball, in a wholeness perspective we could care less of beating people in soccer. I personally would love to see USA Soccer succeed much more. That being said I don't see it happening anytime soon. I don't know what the President of USA Soccer's expectations were, but obviously he needs to see that the U.S.A.'s priorities do not include soccer.
P.S. Great Job USA!
